In the canons where Joker doesn’t kill Bruce’s adopted son, he’s still a major criminal and in some cases, Bruce believes they could have been related. It’s gross, keep it away from me. I hate it. They’re enemies, at most they could be occasional allies, I won’t go beyond that.

Primarily based in his first few years as The Batman, which he doesn’t actually refer to himself as yet. Most of the time here, you’ll hear him call himself The Bat.

Influences by Zack Snyder, BTAS, Arkhamverse, and so on. But reformatted to allow potential plotting with most other versions.

Fair warning, I don’t like The Dark Knight trilogy.

Fairer warning, New 52 and from what I’ve seen of Rebirth can all melt in a hole. Except Kate Kane.

Another fair warning, if you woobify Harley Quinn (one of my favorite VILLAINS), I probably won’t follow back. Victims can still be abusers, and if you think even half of what she did pre and post joker is okay, we got some problems.

I’m pre-Dick Grayson, Bruce hasn’t met him or adopted him yet. But I will write post Dick if asked.

If you got some negativity to say about Zack Snyder, I don’t wanna hear it.

If you’re gonna try to start a Marvel v DC war, I also don’t wanna hear it.

If you wanna do crossovers though, I’m open to it, but I am hyper picky about who I follow from either fandom. I don’t want to deal with any drama, I don’t want to be dragged in the middle of some war, I just want to write and have a good time.

I generally will not write with the MCU characters IF the faceclaims are incorrectly cast and not changed accordingly as a person of color. The only exceptions I make are with close friends. And generally that’s because I know they’re good people so. Don’t bitch at me for who I write with unless I’m writing with an abusive individual, then please tell me so I can cease. Honestly, the films aren’t gonna stop whitewashing just because we fight it, but I will tag any replies if asked. Just don’t bitch at me or call me terrible for writing with my friends please, nobody needs that negativity and if you use a fc that you yourself deem problematic, then you lose the right to bitch at me automatically.

SECTION 2: THE BAT

Bruce Wayne is the mask, The Bat is the man.

I try to make it semi-modern, thus social media is a thing. Bruce is even more hyper careful about hiding his identity because of it. There are some news medias that try to paint it as Bruce being in a relationship with the Bat, and others trying to paint it as Bruce hates the Bat so much, and vice versa, that they refuse to even be in the same room as each other. The idiocy of media never ceases to be astounding, but Bruce uses it to his advantage.

He does not have an actual college degree, though he had every ability to get one. He saw no reason for it since he’s already rich and wanted to focus on fighting crime.

On the flipside, he does not view himself as a hero. As a vigilante, he views himself as another form of a criminal, but a criminal who’s goals are for the good of the world.

For the most part for now, this is Single Verse. That does not mean he cannot traverse to other verses, however. It’s actually canon in the comics, films, and otherwise that the multiverse exists so.

This is his early years at the moment so it can develop entirely through rp. His first kid is Violet Baudelaire, as played by my lovely frend persy. The multiverse is canon and he can meet multiples of any characters, and I’m chill with that. They can also know him and a different bruce because, again, the multiverse is canon. The one main DCEU/Snyder canon thing I won’t follow is that Dick Grayson’s the robin who died, because even though it works with Dark Knight Returns, I still love Jason Todd and his storyline deserves to be here too.

A large portion of canon here, despite Battinson being the image, is actually taken from Zack Snyder and the pre-new 52 comics.

Right now it’s still year one/year two, and even though I do intend to have all his kids show up eventually (and all his relationships), theres still influence from snyder and The Dark Knight Returns there. As well as Year One, Year Two, and as what Reeves is using for the basis of The Batman, The Long Halloween. Bruce is not older yet, but he is violent, and that rage only grows over time until Clark Kent and Diana Prince shows him another way.

Overall, however, he still is ultimately fairly violent, and while he does not kill people personally, you cannot look at him beating the shit out of peoples faces and bodies and breaking bones and hanging people upside down as anything other than they gon have permanent damage. Eventually he will develop largely into Batfleck’s Batman (Most likely still with Battinson as the face, just because I don’t like Batfleck’s batears. Sorry Batfleck.) Just without the same overall associations as in the dceu. Just the whole older, jaded, and sick of this shit. Aka… literal comic canon.

There’s gonna be a lot of content warnings on this blog, and I will try to tag them all. The Bio has untagged triggers but most anyone who knows who Bruce Wayne is knows his parents were brutally murdered. They show it in like, every new film.

Idk how far shipping might go, chances are i’ll do threads insinuating things and the like, but Bruce isn’t ready for anything serious until after he met Selina Kyle. If anything builds up with anyone else, we can discuss it. For the most part I will most likely be single ship.

He’s incredibly emo, but in his disguise of Bruce Wayne, he tries to hide his inner turmoil.
